Mike Wood

Mike is a writer and caravanner living on the Wirral, in the UK. He is a member of both the Caravan Club and the Camping and Caravanning Club, and the latter’s magazine has featured several of his humorous short pieces over the years.

Amongst his favourite travel writers, Mike lists Bill Bryson, Terry Darlington, Chris Stewart and Emma Kennedy. He'd love to emmulate these travellers though confesses to a lack of bravery, a lack of funds, and an aversion to eating anything that can look back at him.

Without the hat, and thus assuming the heavily disguised persona of Mike with a J, Mjke Wood is also an award-winning writer of science-fiction, fantasy and stuff that’s just plain weird.
